This one and a half-day summit, sponsored by San Ysidro Health Center, brings together a number of distinguished speakers generally recognized for their unique accomplishments in the areas of Latino health policy development, system reform advocacy, pioneering research and innovative service delivery.

The primary goals of this Leadership Summit are twofold: first, to increase the community’s understanding of the key issues influencing the health and well-being of Latinos; and secondly, to provide a community-based forum to explore “best practices” for delivering quality health services in a respectful and culturally proficient manner. The Summit will also provide a comprehensive overview of Latino demographics and health disparities.
